Our Appeal
As the Foundation continues its successful journey towards strong advocacy, partnerships and funding primarily for the support of the Heart Institute of the Caribbean and the cares of indigent patients as well as other programs that promise to reduce the burden of heart disease in the Caribbean, we invite your support and participation. Please make a tax deductible contribution or call us and share your ideas about how we can best achieve our objectives!
Annual Events
1. HIC Honours: The Legends ball
HICF plans to identify Jamaican heroes and sheroes to ensure they are accessing needed cardiac care. At an annual fund raising ball, a select few would be publicly honoured each year. If a designated honouree doesn’t need the service, they can donate it to someone else.
2. Heart Walk.
HICF will raise funds to provide cardiac care for at least one child from each of the 14 parishes of Jamaica each year.
3. Affair of the Heart: July 25, 2009
A special Fund raising concert with a world renowned singer. Format will be intimate and unplugged.
